Ryan Belville is a Managing Director for Lateral Link, splitting his time between the New York and Los Angeles offices, where he oversees attorney placements and client services. Ryan also establishes and maintains relationships with new employers in need of attorney placement services on a national level. Before joining Lateral Link, Ryan first practiced litigation for several years and then became a legal recruiter in 2004. Ryan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he attended the Honors College, and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Ryan took care of all of the logistics- applying to this position, coordinating multiple rounds of interviews, and of course, interview preparation (D.E. Shaw is very thorough). Because of the relationship between Lateral Link and the employer, I was able to get feedback very quickly and ultimately secured an offer from them, with an exceptional compensation package.
