 | AN UPTICK IN AUGUST
| |
The month of August was one of the busiest months for Lateral Link in the last four years. We placed dozens of attorneys at law firms (large and small) and in-house, in addition to several successful conversions under our Bridge Program.
As this trend continues, we expect a busy fall/winter and even busier first quarter of next year. Most lateral transitions typically occur after employers pay out bonuses, which means candidates usually start the process in September or October in anticipation of a January transition. Since legal hiring is somewhat like a rolling admissions process, please plan ahead and give yourself several months. We want you to take the right job, not just any job, so let us help you start early and get considered before others even start the process.
Additionally, as a result of the recent increase in legal hiring, we are seeking a few
more recruiters for our (i) law firm (associate and partner) and (ii) in-house practice groups. Our ideal candidate is a graduate from a Top
law school and a former practicing attorney with an AmLaw 100 firm, with a
track record of success as a legal recruiter with a top legal recruiting
boutique. If you meet the first two requirements, but do not have legal recruiting
experience, we will still consider you if you show a genuine interest in,
and commitment to, transitioning into legal recruiting as a long-term
career. Lateral Link recruiters are compensated on a
commission basis and commissions are above market. Take a look at our team bios and if you would like to be considered for our team, please send a resume and cover letter to join@laterallink.com. | |
