The New York office is seeking corporate associates. Because the firm is actively growing, attorneys get significant active hands-on experience. Backgrounds with m/a preferred, top academic credentials required.
Position Requirements:
The attorney should have 1-6 years of general corporate experience at a major law firm and outstanding academic credentials.

This New York-based law firm of approximately 50 attorneys focuses on sophisticated Litigation, Corporate and Bankruptcy work. Most of the attorneys at this firm have come from the largest, top-tier firms in the country. The firm offers its Associates immediate hands-on responsibility as well as a reputation for very reasonable hours and a truly collegial working environment. Their client list includes major players such as Clear Channel, Amazon.com, Columbia University and Lazard Freres. The quality and depth of their legal team distinguishes them from other firms of their size and allows them to compete effectively against the larger top-tier firms.
Because of their size and approach to legal practice, they staff their matters quite leanly; this ensures that senior attorneys remain actively involved, while junior lawyers receive responsibility commensurate with their abilities.

GUARANTEED BONUS
Placement Bonus
Lateral Link typically provides a placement bonus to Members who are placed in full-time law firm positions. In most instances, the bonus amount will equal:
(a) $10,000 for positions with a base salary greater than $160,000; or
(b) $5,000 for positions with a base salary of $160,000 or less.
Although we assist all Members with a career transition, Lateral Link does not provide a placement bonus for boutique law firm, in-house counsel, government or non-profit placements. Additionally, we are unable to offer a signing bonus for some law firm positions in certain instances, given the arrangement with the employer; we appreciate your understanding in advance. Please confirm with your search consultant as to whether a specific position qualifies for a placement bonus.
A placement bonus is paid after Lateral Link fully earns its fee from the law firm, which is subject to Lateral Link’s agreement with each employer. Lateral Link offers a graduated referral fee for each attorney referred to us who is not
already part of the Lateral Link network and who subsequently obtains a position through
Lateral Link. Lateral Link pays Members $500 for the first successful referral, $1,000 for
