This position is for an experienced corporate and securities attorney. Must possess extensive experience in the regulatory, compliance, and enforcement issues confronted by participants in the securities markets. Candidates must have sound business ethics and substantial experience in representing brokerage firms, investment advisors and/or hedge funds.
The West Los Angeles law firm specializes in securities transactions, business restructurings and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. The firm functions as the principal in-house counsel for a sophisticated family office. Its 4 attorneys have vast experience working on investment partnerships, commercial and industrial real estate projects, and other business transactions.
Position Requirements:
*10+ years quality legal experience, preferably at an Am Law 100 law firm, exhibiting a progression of responsibility and leadership and/or in an in-house position at a firm that participates in the securities markets. *Effective transaction negotiating skills. *Superb drafting, analytic, and communication skills. *Candidate must show initiative in pursuing appropriate timely and effective solutions to complex issues and business strategies. *No book of business necessary.

GUARANTEED BONUS
Placement Bonus
Lateral Link typically provides a placement bonus to Members who are placed in full-time law firm positions. In most instances, the bonus amount will equal:
(a) $10,000 for positions with a base salary greater than $160,000; or
(b) $5,000 for positions with a base salary of $160,000 or less.
Although we assist all Members with a career transition, Lateral Link does not provide a placement bonus for boutique law firm, in-house counsel, government or non-profit placements. Additionally, we are unable to offer a signing bonus for some law firm positions in certain instances, given the arrangement with the employer; we appreciate your understanding in advance. Please confirm with your search consultant as to whether a specific position qualifies for a placement bonus.
A placement bonus is paid after Lateral Link fully earns its fee from the law firm, which is subject to Lateral Link’s agreement with each employer.
