Bio
Don Delaney is a Managing Director at Lateral Link and oversees attorney placements and client services throughout the Mountain Region. Prior to opening Lateral Link's Denver office, he was a recruiter at a boutique search firm in New York, where he counseled practice groups, individual partners, and top caliber associates transitioning to other firms. Before becoming a recruiter, Don practiced law in New York for 9 years. He began his legal career as an associate with Mayer Brown LLP. Don then went on to enjoy significant trial work as an Assistant Attorney General and public defender. He returned to the private sector and practiced for several years at a boutique litigation firm. Don is a graduate of Michigan Law School and received a B.S. in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern. Prior to law school, he was a Research Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley. Outside of the office, Don enjoys skiing, yoga, golf, hiking, judo, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
